In 2024, Alex O’Reilly and Chloe Dodd brought their shared passion for hospitality to life with the launch of The Opportunity Co. They felt strongly about the industry's potential for growth and the need for experienced, knowledgeable, and more importantly, passionate professionals to support it.
In the hospitality industry, the focus is on people, providing guests with a space for celebration and escape. With the inception of The Opportunity Co, they aspire to strike the perfect balance, ensuring that while they delve into the details of each business, they never lose sight of the emotional experience for the guests within the vibrant world of hospitality.

Alex is a multi-award-winning director celebrated for his unparalleled creativity, innovation, and unwavering commitment to excellence in the hospitality industry.
At the heart of his success is a belief in the power of positive teamwork and the critical importance of staff recruitment, training, development, and morale. Alex will leverage his innate sociability and approachability to foster an environment where every team member feels valued. Chloe is a vibrant hospitality expert with a dynamic blend of creativity and business acumen, influenced by her background in musical theatre and recent MBA achievement. Her seamless transition from recruitment, where she was recognised as one of James Caan's "Elite 12," showcases her honed sales skills that seamlessly transferred to hospitality.
Throughout her career, Chloe has spearheaded remarkable achievements, including top-line strategies on multi-million-pound projects, overseeing 8 venue launches and 11 brand relaunches, and implementing cost-effective initiatives nationally. She's known for establishing record-breaking sales teams, conducting accredited group training, and presenting successful sales and marketing campaigns.
With diverse experience from prestigious members clubs to bustling bars and nightclubs, competitive socialising, leisure concepts, and serene estates, Chloe brings invaluable knowledge and a guest-centric approach to her work. She's also a passionate advocate for promoting hospitality as a rewarding career path for the next generation.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Chloe enjoys spending quality time with her daughters at dance class and unwinding with friends over delicious food and wine. So, do fire over any recommendations for exciting new places to explore.
